Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening

A panel of National Hunt Experts will be hosted by Clerk of the Course Dai Jones. The panel will include Tim Vaughan, Sean Bowen, Martin Higgs and James Lovell.

Trainer Tim Vaughan has had over 700 winners to date and one of his biggest winners was training Beshabar to win the Scottish Grand National in 2011.

Sean Bowen is one of the younger jockeys in the weighing room making a name for himself, he is the son of horse trainer Peter Bowen and won the British conditional jockey championship in the 2014-15 season.

Martin Higgs, Raceday Presenter and tipster. Martin is involved in various aspects of Horse Racing from running Racing Clubs to entertaining clients during their day at the races.

Lastly, James Lovell from James Lovell Bookmaking is an on-course bookmaker.
