Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

#GoRacingGreen Raceday

Nottingham is adding additional events to its calendar this year to support its community.

24th March: a pre-season open day for parents, carers and professionals from facilities such as dementia care homes, charities, support groups and services and SEND education facilities to go along and have a tour of the course and its facilities, ask questions and let staff know what support they would need to attend a race day.

This follows the success of Nottingham’s 2019 season finale, when around 30 residents from local dementia homes and supported housing organisations visited the racecourse as part of the #GoRacingGreen initiative’s community support sponsorship through Unibet, with all adding race days to their residents’ social programmes going forward as a result.

Nottingham’s fixture on 3rd June is a #GoRacingGreen race day, where these organisations are welcome to set up stands to showcase what they offer and the support that is available to those within the local community.
