Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Greatwood Charity Raceday

Raising money for local racehorse charity Greatwood, this is one of our most successful charity racedays. As always at Newbury, it is also the perfect opportunity to see some future stars of the jumps world. Previous winners on this day have included Just A Par, Thomas Crapper and Warriors Tale, all of whom have gone on to graded success, whilst last year we saw San Benedeto and McFabulous score a double for Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls.

Greatwood Charity Raceday

Greatwood helps both horses and people. They rehome and rescue ex-racehorses, while keeping some horses and providing animal assisted intervention education courses for those who need it. Find out more here.
