Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

William Hill Racing Staff Boxing Night

Racing Welfare is delighted to announce that after last year’s success, the William Hill Racing Staff Boxing Night will be returning for 2020. Held at York Racecourse on 7th March, the event is affiliated to Ultra White Collar Boxing and is raising money for Racing Welfare. Training will commence in January – perfect to fulfil New Year’s resolutions to get fit and undertake an exciting new challenge. The competition, which will see
fairly matched participants contest three two-minute bouts on the night, is open to men and women who work in all areas of the racing industry – including stable and stud staff, stalls handlers, racecourse staff as well as jockeys and trainers.

Registrations to take part are being accepted until 6th January 2020. Full details on how to sign up are available here.
