Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Ascot Hosts The Not Forgotten – Jingle Bell Rock Drive-In

On Thursday 10th December Ascot Racecourse played host to The Not Forgotten charity’s Christmas event which was staged in the Windsor Enclosure. Guests drove in to enjoy a fun-packed programme from the comfort of their cars including music, festive games and a hog roast – all delivered following social distance guidelines!

In a year where the pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to charities, The Not Forgotten has adapted and continues to provide safe support to veterans; it has been needed more than ever. Surviving World War II veterans were sent a gift box to commemorate their missed 75th victory celebrations and to thank them for their service. The charity also embarked on new ventures, including outdoor concerts to care homes across GB, online variety shows, jigsaws and activity books.

Ascot Racecourse was proud to support this fantastic charity who do so much for our veterans.
