Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Bath Racecourse Light Up Lansdowne event success

Bath Racecourse’s Light Up Lansdowne Fireworks and Bonfire Night was a great success and a good example of just one natural alliance that the racecourse team has established. Their official partner for this family event was Crimestoppers UK – the well-known independent charity that works to keep communities and individuals feeling safe.

‘Having the charity as part of our Light Up Lansdowne event was a great way of supporting this unique charity who offer so much to our local people. With Crimestoppers raising over £1,500 we hope that other charities and the wider public see what benefits racing can bring to its communities,’ said Bath Racecourse Marketing and PR Manager Tom Bettles.

This partnership shows the mutual benefit for both groups – Bath’s record attendance at the event being the perfect platform for Crimestoppers UK to raise awareness of their work and to fundraise for vital funds.
