Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Family Raceday

Get ready kids it’s going to be a day out to remember!

The first of five July meetings and one of two fun-filled family days at Ayr Racecourse this month, the Family Fun Raceday guarantees to be an enjoyable day out for all.

With under 18s going free, it is the perfect day out with the kids this summer. For the children there is wide array of free entertainment and interactive activities on offer. They can meet their favourite princesses and superheroes, Captain America, Spiderman and Elsa, just to name a few, be transformed in the Face Painting Studio, allow their creativity to run wild in the Arts and Crafts station, take part in an exciting Treasure Hunt, be blown away by the Lego Station and make unforgettable memories on the Fairground rides, with much more on offer!

Racing wise there is lots to enjoy too. A competitive seven racecard featuring horses from leading stables with many top jockeys riding.

This traditional Sunday fixture has proved immensely popular over the years and is set to be just as exciting if not even more exciting this year.
