Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday

Saturday 2nd November 2019
The Jumps Season Starts with a Bang.

The National Hunt season promises to get off to a memorable start and visitors can enjoy one of the region’s largest firework spectaculars. A safe environment for families and there is free entry for under-18s when accompanied by an adult.

The £100,000 Sodexo Gold Cup Chase over three miles is the feature race of seven and there is plenty of fun to be had off the track with fairground rides and an epic fireworks display after racing.

White-knuckle fairground rides and adrenaline attractions will be on offer throughout the day, with gentler rides such as Mini Jets, Dodgems and clip clop pony rides for the under-10s. Rides are free of charge until 4 pm and cost £1 thereafter – with proceeds donated to local charities.

Gates open at 10:45am. Find out more and book tickets here.
