Volunteer today for racing charities!


Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

A selection of charities that rely on volunteers:

  • Racehorse Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre

  • The British Thoroughbred Rehoming Centre

Example roles include administrative or specialist business support, fundraising-specific tasks, or hands-on with horses.

Football Extravaganza Family Fun Raceday

Head over to Worcester Racecourse for the first Family Fun Day of 2018 in association with The Albion Foundation, and cheer on England as they play Panama in the World Cup group stages! This will be shown live on the big screen from 1pm.

The West Bromwich Albion Foundation will be there on the day, bringing along their coaching staff and the football skills station, where the kids will have the chance to win soccer camp places this summer! You will find The Albion Foundation and their FREE activities in the Centre Course Enclosure.

There are plenty of FREE activities for the children, including:

MINI QUAD BIKES | GIANT INFLATABLES | PONY RIDES | FACE PAINTING | PENALTY SHOOT OUT | ENGLAND BOUNCY CASTLE…. And much more!

All of the children’s activities are located in the Centre Course Enclosure and are free for the children to use.

Adult tickets start at £10 and children under 18 go free!
