Volunteer today for racing charities!


Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

James Herriot ‘All Creatures Great & Small’ Family Day

Join us for an action packed day at Thirsk Races with fun for all of the family on our James Herriot ‘All Creatures Great & Small’ Family Day.

We have plenty of children’s entertainment planned throughout the day to keep the kids entertained. As well as bouncy castles and play areas;¬†there will also be a petting farm, pony rides to enjoy and much more.

Under 18’s go racing for free when accompanied by an adult, so make the most of the school Summer holidays and join us for a fantastic day out with the family.
