Volunteer today for racing charities!


Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

Example roles include administrative or specialist business support, fundraising-specific tasks, or hands-on with horses.

KIDS ‘Superhero’s’ Family Extravaganza Raceday

KIDS ‘Superhero’s’ Family Extravaganza Raceday– Sunday 5th August – a day not to be missed!

Give your kids the opportunity to dress as their favourite superhero for a day at the races. With prizes for the best mini superhero, appearances from Leo & Ralph, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, bags of children’s entertainment including: kids race on the track, face painting, pony rides and inflatable extravaganza – this is a firm family favourite in anyone’s calendar.

Don’t forget their will be 7 exciting horse races throughout the day giving you the opportunity to cheer on your favourite.
