Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

Ladbrokes Winter Carnival Preview Night

Including drinks reception (house wine, beer or soft drink) and a light bite on arrival.

Don’t miss the chance to have your card marked by those in the know ahead of the Ladbrokes Winter Carnival, with Newbury’s special preview night in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund. Join host, Luke Harvey and an expert panel including; Lambourn trainer, Oliver Sherwood; Ladbrokes Head of PR, Nicola McGeady; trainer, Dan Skelton and top jockey, Richard Johnson to help find you some winners before two days of quality racing action, featuring the £250,000 Ladbrokes Trophy.

Tickets are £15 each, £10 of each ticket being donated to the Injured Jockeys Fund.


  • 7.00pm Guests arrive for drinks and a light bite.
  • 7.30pm Guest panel to preview both days of the Ladbrokes Winter Carnival.
  • 9.00pm Guests depart
