Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Royal Ascot Virtual Preview Evening

Join Racing Welfare on Thursday 11th June at 7:30pm for their virtual Royal Ascot Preview Evening.

Overview:

Following the return of racing to the UK this month, Racing Welfare is delighted to announce its virtual Royal Ascot Preview Evening, in association with Sporting Life. The event will be broadcast live on the internet for ticket holders and is set to be hosted by Racing TV’s Nick Luck.

Hear the thoughts of a stellar panel of racing personalities, including Champion Trainer John Gosden and Racing TV expert Lydia Hislop, as they look forward to the highlight of the British Flat season, Royal Ascot. Michael Shinners, Sky Bet’s Head of Sports PR, has also been named amongst the panellists to provide an up-to-date view on the market. With the full line up set to be announced later in the week, expect lively debate plus the opportunity to put your questions to the panel.

Although happening behind closed doors, Royal Ascot is a feast for racing fans, with 36 races scheduled to take place across 5 days starting on Tuesday 16th June. Featuring the usual mix of outstanding Group action and some of the most competitive handicaps of the year, it will surely be another unmissable renewal of the meeting.

Our expert panel, all of whom have generously donated their time, will help to set the scene and mark the cards of our audience. The event is limited to just 1,000 tickets so don’t hang around, purchase your place today.

The event is being presented in association with Sporting Life, with each of the panel being given £100 charity bets courtesy of the sponsor. All winning returns go to Racing Welfare.

Tickets for the event are just £10 and everyone who purchases a ticket will automatically be entered into a raffle for the chance to win four Queen Anne enclosure tickets for Royal Ascot 2021, courtesy of Ascot Racecourse. All ticket revenue will go straight to Racing Welfare.

Ticket holders will also be sent a digital brochure in advance of the evening, featuring exclusive content from Donn McClean on the Irish challenge as well as a guide for the preview event.
