Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Wales Air Ambulance Racenight

Ffos Las host their summer evening Wales Air Ambulance Racenight on Thursday 6th June with 7 races on the card.

They are also offering those in the Services a ticket for free and the option to bring a friend for £5, these tickets must be collected and bought on the night on presenting a valid ID.

Ffos Las are proud to work in association with Wales Air Ambulance at this meeting. Wales Air Ambulance covers the whole of Wales every single day. Each year their helicopters attend around 2,500 missions, covering rural countryside and our bustling towns and cities. There are four airbase operations located in Caernarfon, Llanelli, Welshpool and Cardiff. Wales Air Ambulance can be there for anyone in Wales within 20 minutes not just flying patients to Hospital but providing life-saving care. Keeping helicopters in the air is done via charitable donations, membership of their in-house Lifesaving Lottery and fundraising events. The day will be run in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance.

There will be a shuttle bus from Llanelli train station to the racecourse.

Burry Port, Mynydd Mawr & Llanelli Choir will perform before racing, and there will be a Charity Mascot Race before racing.

Kids (aged 17 & under) go free to this race meeting!
