Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Racing Together’s Lucy Gurney joins Women in Racing

Established in September 2009, Women in Racing is an independent initiative with a vision to provide development and mentoring opportunities to help women across the industry to raise their profile, and promote their appointment into senior roles to enrich the sport.

“I am very honoured to join the WiR committee and to find ways to support the development of women across the racing industry,” said Racing Together ‘s Community Engagement Manager, Lucy Gurney. “I see this role as being in step with our work at Racing Together promoting accessibility to the sport to all communities.” Find out more about Lucy and her role on the committee below…
