Ascot supports ‘Christmas in July’ for Sebastian’s Action Trust

Due to Covid-19, Ascot were unable to host the charity’s annual party scheduled for 12th July, but their team supported Sebastian’s Action Trust’s virtual “Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” themed event instead.

The epic 3-hour online spectacular was beamed to the 1,200 children and parents that are supported by the Trust, who were each sent family packs, craft materials to be used during a special activity session, decoration and prop ideas with each child even receiving a personalised Christmas present!

Ascot commissioned its raceday entertainers to put on a bubble workshop, juggling show and storytelling segment for the children whilst also despatching themed cookies to enjoy.

The charity have sent across this video showing the magical highlights. We are told that the event brought joy, happiness, smiles and laughter to hundreds of families who have endured many months in complete lockdown isolation.
