Ascot Supports Sebastian’s Action Trust Christmas in July

On Sunday 12 July, Ascot Racecourse once again supported Sebastian’s Action Trust’s annual Christmas in July celebration, helping to create a memorable day for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.

Following the success of last year’s event, Ascot Supports brought back it’s popular social tree climbing activity, giving families the opportunity to enjoy a unique and inclusive experience together. For many, it was a chance to try something completely new, build confidence and create special memories in a supportive environment.

The event brought together families from across the region for a day of festive fun, friendship and adventure, with volunteers helping to ensure every family felt welcome and able to make the most of the experience.

Sebastian’s Action Trust shared its thanks, recognising the enthusiasm, kindness and dedication of everyone involved in making the day such a success. Thanks to the support of volunteers, families were able to enjoy a memorable day together and create moments they will cherish for years to come.

“A truly lovely event. This was our second time attending, and we honestly had such a wonderful time. An incredible event – here’s to next year!”

“My grandson loved the experience of going up into the tree in his wheelchair.”

Ascot Racecourse continues to support the work of Sebastian’s Action Trust through its Ascot Supports programme, helping to create meaningful experiences for children and families across the local community.
