Ascot’s initiative raises £35,000 for Injured Jockeys Fund
A programme instigated by Ascot whereby the racecourse agrees to donate £1 per Fine Dining customer to the Injured Jockeys Fund has help deliver a sum of £35,000 to the charity. This total was boosted by donations from guests who benefit from an informative talk by ex-jockeys.
The Ascot/ IJF Ambassador Programme was introduced in 2017 and to date over £80,000 has been raised to help the rehabilitation and care of many jockeys.
