Cheltenham’s Matthew Foxton-Duffy declared for mascot race on Grand National day

Cheltenham’s Regional Head of Marketing, Matthew Foxton-Duffy, who runs in Saturday’s Grand National Mascot Race at Aintree said: “We entered the mascot race at Aintree for a bit of fun, never intending to be the one running, and thought it would be great to raise money for an extremely worthwhile charity, The Injured Jockeys Fund.

“It has been a real team effort to raise over £1000 which has meant I will now be running in the race on Grand National Saturday and it would be great if we can continue to raise more money. You never know, it may make me run faster!”
