Community leader endorses Racing to School programme at Wincanton Racecourse
Racing to School, one of seven charities chosen by members of the Betting and Gaming Council to receive a share of the £450,000 raised through the 2025 Britannia Stakes charitable initiative at Royal Ascot Racecourse, recently welcomed members of the BGC who were joined by local MP Sarah Dyke to see the supported work in action.
During the visit to Wincanton Racecourse, guests observed an education day in action and learned more about how the programme engages young people, builds confidence and connects communities with the sport. A supporting video filmed during the visit captures the activities on offer and highlights the positive impact the sessions have on pupils and schools.
The visit provided an important opportunity to demonstrate how this support is enabling Racing to School to reach more young people and strengthen its educational and community impact across Britain.
