ARC Middleham Open Day
It’s less than two weeks to go until the ARC Middleham Open Day on Friday 18th April 2025.
Take part in a celebration of horseracing in one of the sport’s most beautiful training centres. ARC Middleham Open Day is a unique and exciting day out for all ages, the day starts with open yards, followed by a full programme of fun on Low Moor.
There are nine yards opening their doors in the morning. They are:

- Ed Bethell
- Neil Mechie
- Micky Hammond
- Jedd O’Keeffe
- Phillip Makin
- Patrick Neville
- Karl Burke
- Simon West
10 things not to miss on the day:
- Take a look around the 9 yards that have opened up their gates to the public this year
- Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win fantastic prizes!
- Meet the ponies from Ashgill Equestrian who will be waiting on the Low Moor to meet you
- Enjoy the Retraining of Racehorses Showing classes on Middleham Low Moor from 11.30am
- Take a wander around the marketplace between visiting yards during the morning
- Join us on the Low moor from 1pm for some fun for the little ones including face painting, sports activities, pony petting and jockey silks to try on.
- New Beginnings will be discussing the process of retraining and rehoming former racehorses along with a demonstration from 1.30pm
- Enter your dog in one of the Aiskew Equine and Pet Supplies Dog Show classes, £2 per class
- Cheer on the competitors in the inter-yard challenge on the Low Moor from 2.15pm
