Family Sports Day

Catterick Racecourse’s Family Sports Day takes place on Monday 18 August, with activities beginning before the first race at 2.15pm. The third annual Egg & Spoon race is scheduled for around an hour beforehand, and gates open from midday. Free entertainment will run throughout the afternoon, including crazy golf, a penalty shoot-out, face painting and inflatable darts.

Accompanied under 18s receive free admission, with adult tickets from £8 in advance. Picnics are welcome in the Course Enclosure, and a complimentary shuttle bus will operate between Richmond Market Place and the racecourse from an hour before the first race. Tickets can be bought at the gates or in advance (including group booking discounts available until 48 hours before the fixture) by calling 01748 811478 or booking online. Concession rates for students, over 65s and discounted military tickets are available both in advance and on the day.
