Lingen Davies Cancer Trust Raceday
Ludlow’s beneficiary for this year’s charity fixture is the Lingen Davies Cancer Trust, based in Shrewsbury.
The charity lunch package costs £70 and includes a three course lunch in a marquee, a members day badge and race day programme. The raceday auction includes some fantastic prizes including holidays etc.
There will be 8 races in total, the last being The Charity Race for amateur riders. Each rider pledges to raise minimum £500 sponsorship.
All monies raised from the five sponsored races (plus the charity race) will go to the charity. Ludlow expect to raise a substantial amount for the charity, in previous years they have raised anywhere between £25,000-£100,000.
