Racing To Zero Summer Mile Family Raceday

Ascot’s Summer Mile Weekend promises a fantastic mix of top-class racing, family entertainment and inspiring community and sustainability showcases.

As part of Ascot’s Racing to Zero strategy, visitors can explore a range of interactive displays and eco-focused initiatives across the site. Highlights include:

  • ‘The Dream Horse’ – a striking upcycled horse sculpture with selfie space.
  • Launch of a fully electric community bus to be used by local charity People to Places.
  • Plan Bee – learn about the Ascot bee hives and their positive impact on the environment.
  • Grundon Recycling Demos – learn about all things recycling and check out Grundon’s electric waste collection vehicle powered by waste.
  • Sustainability Pledge Board – make your commitment at the Cedar Tree Lawn.

Families are also well catered for, with a dedicated area offering free entertainment including face painting, balloon modelling and roaming performers — all designed to create a memorable day out for younger racegoers.

🎟️ Under 18s go free when accompanied by an adult.
