Summer Holiday Racing

Proud to support local children with autism, Chelmsford City Racecourse are offering complimentary tickets for families to join them for an Autism family friendly raceday in a private and safe environment. Partnering with POP Essex – wonderful local charity who provide SEND stay & play and respite sessions in Braintree.

Children with autism will experience a supervised state of the art sensory room before enjoying some thrilling racing and autism friendly sensory play activities. Located in a prime position, children can watch the horses in the Parade Ring before each race or visit the Queen Charlotte marquee which promises an experience of the horses thundering past on the final bed, that they will never forget!

There is also a Shetland pony race prior to the first race, on what is sure to be an exciting day out for the whole family.
