Summer Mile Family Raceday

A fixture that caters for everyone. Perfect for socialising with friends, the racecourse is in full midsummer bloom and the pace is relaxed. There is a competitive seven-race card, live music, elegant picnic lawns, and eclectic Champagne and cocktail bars to enjoy.

For the second year in a row, Summer Mile Family Raceday will also feature a dedicated and separate family zone with a host of attractions to thrill children aged 4-15. All Under 18s tickets are free and kids under 12 will also be able to enjoy free food at certain outlets in the family enclosure.

The family-only enclosure, located in the Old Paddock, will be divided into zones, including Entertainers, Lifestyle, Explorers and Thrillseekers. In addition to clip clop pony and fairground rides there will be workshops, and a stage with music between races. All activities are free.

The Group 2 Fred Cowley MBE Memorial Summer Mile is the highlight of the race card and one of the most important mile races of the season.
