Every Ryan Moore winner at Royal Ascot 2025 to raise £5,000 for Retraining of Racehorses

Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) is once again proud to be one of the charity partners of Ascot Racecourse during the world-renowned Royal Ascot. Through Ascot Racecourse Supports, the racecourse’s dedicated charity and community programme, £5,000 will be donated to RoR for every winner ridden by leading jockey Ryan Moore, supporting the charity’s vital work in aftercare.

In 2024, the initiative raised an impressive £30,000, following six victories by Moore during the week. RoR is delighted that Ascot and Moore are continuing their support for a second year, building on the awareness and momentum generated both within and beyond the sport.

This year’s campaign comes at a pivotal time for the charity, which is midway through its 2024–2026 strategic plan. RoR is seeking long-term funding commitments from within the racing industry to deliver sustainable aftercare solutions and safeguard the future of its essential programmes.

David Catlow, Managing Director of RoR, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Ascot Racecourse has once again chosen to partner with RoR for Royal Ascot. The visibility this initiative brings, combined with the generous financial support, plays a vital role in helping us deliver our charitable mission. Nick Smith, Director of Racing and Public Affairs at Ascot Racecourse, said: “Using Royal Ascot’s international platform to raise awareness for such good causes is important to us. We hope our donation and the publicity this generates for RoR will help them with their continued work in the aftercare of racehorses.”

Ryan Moore added: “It was great to raise £30,000 last year for this initiative and hopefully I can ride a few more winners this year to make a significant contribution to this vital charity again.”

The initiative will be promoted throughout Royal Ascot week, with RoR sharing updates on Ryan Moore’s progress via its social media channels and website.
