*NEW DATE* Join our webinar: British racecourse community programme highlights
Racing Together is pleased to announce that the second installment of the series will be entitled:
“Motivation and Method: a standout year for racecourse engagement“
The expert panel will discuss the innovative approach of racecourses nationwide to create positive impact in their communities. The panel will be hosted by the Racecourse Association’s Matthew Jones with racecourse representatives contributing to the discussion.
Episode two will take place on Wednesday, 22nd January at 1-1.45pm.
Panellists formed part of the recent Racecourse Association Showcase & Awards judging process competing in the sought-after Community Award category, won by Go Racing in Yorkshire (join us at Racing Together Industry Day to hear from General Manager Charlotte Russell to hear more about their Bowel Cancer Screening Programme).
This webinar will discuss the motivation behind these initiatives, why they were created and how they came to life in partnership with charities and the local community.
Last month’s webinar showcased the success of National Racehorse Week community and educational visits. Viewers heard from panellists who were hands-on delivering inspiring experiences throughout this year’s event. You can catch up on episode one here.
Racing Together’s Community Engagement Manager, Lucy Gurney said: “This episode is a timely opportunity to explore successful 2024 racecourse community programmes.
“The aim of our webinar series is to inspire viewers to take ideas back to their own initiatives. We’ll be building on this theme at this year’s Racing Together Industry Day on 6th February at Nottingham Racecourse.”
As always, the webinar will be free to join via Zoom. The audience is encouraged to ask questions of the panellists. The recording will be available on the Racing Together website, sign up below to receive a link.
