Lingfield Park host company’s annual winter party and fundraiser in support of two charities

A party of 80 from the Kent-based renewable energy company, Ecolution Group was hosted by Lingfield in late January for their annual winter party and fundraiser. The beneficiary charities are Murdered Abroad and Dandelion Time, both of which mean a great deal to the company’s directors.

This popular staff event combines a fun betting competition with raising awareness of these great causes. Murdered Abroad supports those that live in the UK whose loved ones are the victims of murder or manslaughter abroad. The charity was founded by a close family member of one of the directors.

Dandelion Time was set up to protect young children traumatised by abuse, neglect or struggling with early life attachment difficulties. They provide practical farm-based developmental activities and therapeutic services to help children overcome these obstacles and to help them develop confidence and self-esteem.

Kevin Knapp CEO of Ecolution Group said: “Lingfield is something our whole company look forward to every year. Not only is it a great day out but we get to raise money for great causes. This year it was in honour of two charities who we work with very closely. We will be hosting the same event next year at Lingfield and arranging a 10k charity walk/run on 28th July.”
