Oaksey House welcome special guests for popular Lambourn Open Day
Oaksey House was delighted to open up to those attending the popular Peter O’Sullevan Open Day on Good Friday. The team welcomed a steady stream of racing enthusiasts through the door for some much-needed refreshments and tours of the Injured Jockeys Fund’s original rehabilitation centre, which were conducted by Lady Oaksey, a well-known supporter and Vice Chairman of the charity.
Among the visitors was Carolyn Harris MP for Swansea East.
Site Manager at Oaksey House, Clare Hazell said: “It was great to see so many enthusiastic racing fans enjoying the day and what a pleasure it was to showcase the Injured Jockeys Fund facilities, including the hydropool, gym and jockey coaching simulator room. In addition, it was wonderful to spend time chatting to such interesting, engaged and varied visitors.”
