Racing Foundation Conference early-bird rate ends on 8th May
The Racing Foundation is pleased to announce that the annual Horseracing Industry Conference will be returning on 1st June 2023 at York Racecourse.
Delivered in partnership with University of Liverpool Management School, and hosted by broadcaster Rishi Persad, the conference will bring together expertise from sector leaders and researchers who will explore the topic Modernising Racing: How far and how fast?
Guest speakers will cover a variety of topical issues from both the horseracing industry and the wider sporting landscape. This will include analysing the current racing product, exploring assisted breeding techniques and assessing the sport’s progress with environmental sustainability. The conference will also include an industry strategy update from Julie Harrington and Joe Saumarez Smith, Chief Executive and Chair of the British Horseracing Authority, as well as a leadership panel where racing’s leaders will be asked to reflect on the challenges faced by the sport.
The conference ticket includes lunch and will be followed by champagne reception, an ideal opportunity to network with other delegates from the racing community and discuss the topics of the day.
All tickets purchased prior to May 8th benefit from an early bird discount at £55.
