Building on the success of the inaugural Industry Day, Racing Together is pleased to announce that the day will return on 8th February 2024. The 2024 edition will take place at Chester Racecourse and will consist of a variety of speakers from both within and outside the racing industry. There will be time for networking and sharing best practices, as well as a panel discussion. Conor McGinn, co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Racing and Bloodstock will open the day and will be joined by speakers from the sports of Rugby and Cricket. This year the event will be kindly supported by Gallagher’s Insurance, who will be exploring the ideas of corporate sponsorship in the Community Engagement Space.
John Blake, Racing Together CEO said: “We were so pleased with the positive response from so many colleagues during and following the inaugural Racing Together Industry day at Ascot earlier this year. We hope that another engaging and diverse group of speakers will attract similar support when we welcome guests to Chester Racecourse on February 8th.
“It is testament to the commitment and urgency across racing to prioritise and, where possible, connect community engagement programmes as an essential part of future planning. It is hard to think of a more important time in the industry’s history for all our organisations to develop even more authentic, meaningful and visible ways to connect with society.”
