Racing Together announces third episode of current series

Racing Together is excited to announce that the third instalment of the series will be entitled ‘A view from inside racing’s community programmes’.

Episode three will take place on Thursday, 7th December, returning to its usual 1-1.45pm slot. The panel will include Sophie Mellett from The National Stud and Catherine Rowland from Park Palace Ponies.

Racing Together was pleased to received positive feedback from recent episodes, such as: “Really interesting session, re-enforces the need for racing to try and join up what we’re doing across all these great areas of work”. The purpose of these webinars is to bring together different voices from across and outside the industry to help inform discussion across the industry’s range of community programmes. The latest webinar will hear from colleagues with first-hand experience and insight into some of this year’s most impactful community programmes.

Racing Together’s Community Engagement Manager, Lucy Gurney said: “As the year comes to an end, we wanted to reflect upon a range of some of the unique community programmes and initiatives that have supported communities this years.

“We hope to inspire viewers as we look forward to next year and maintaining community engagement as a priority for the industry. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our participants, panellists, hosts and everyone who has interacted with our popular webinars this year, we hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as we have.”

As always, the webinar will be free to join via Zoom, with the audience encouraged to ask questions of the panellists. For those who cannot make it on the day, the recording will be made available on the Racing Together website later that day.
