Racing Together announces webinar line-up for November 16th

Racing Together is pleased to announce the theme and panel for the next installment of the third series of the popular webinar series.  Episode Two is scheduled for Thursday, 16th November, at a new earlier time of 11am. The panel will discuss A shared challenge: innovations in education and employment.

Our clocks are going back two hours to welcome panellist Trish Egan, representing an Australian viewpoint and as Vice Chair of Together for Racing International. Joining her will be former jump jockey Dom Elsworth, who now works with RMF Equine, a groundbreaking pathway that helps those with barriers to employment find long-term work within the equine industry. Sophie Chambers, Managing Director of Gallagher Insurance Bloodstock Division will reflect on her firm’s partnership with The Jockey Club and Rio Ferdinand Foundation. Completing the panel is Lee Moulson, from the Racing Pathway and who is also a Trustee of the British Racing School.

Racing Together’s Community Engagement Manager, Lucy Gurney said: “We’re grateful to our panelists, especially Trish Egan tuning in from Australia, for helping us to explore innovations in education and employment across racing. Together, the panel can draw on a diverse range of experiences, which we hope will stretch thinking around the latest initiatives designed to engage people with our sport.”

This episode will be hosted by Racing Together’s CEO John Blake and will, as usual, be free to join, with the audience encouraged to ask questions of the panellists via Zoom’s Q&A facility. For those who cannot join on the day, the recording will be made available on the Racing Together Webinar homepage.
