Scottish Racing announce partnership with William Hill to support Alzheimer’s Scotland
With over 90,000 people in Scotland living with dementia, Scottish Racing have joined forces with William Hill to support the work of Alzheimer Scotland.
As part of the year-long initiative starting 1st April, every racecourse in Scotland, and 1,600 members of William Hill staff will be trained as ‘dementia friends’ in 2019. In addition to staff training, Scottish Racing and William Hill will be raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and the work of Alzheimer Scotland, and raising funds to support the charity.
