The National Stud, Newmarket Racecourse and Jockey Club Estates’ charity raffle for Newmarket Open Door foodbank

The Newmarket community is the home and heart of the Jockey Club Group businesses as well as it being home to many of its employees. In support of the 2023 Community Day, The National Stud, Newmarket Racecourse and Jockey Club Estates have come together as one team to create a charity raffle, with all proceeds going to Newmarket Open Door.

Newmarket Open Door does exceptional work in providing assistance and support to those experiencing homelessness, poverty, hunger and physical and mental disability.

Sophie Mellett, Marketing Executive at The National Stud said: “When Racing To School first approached us about a fundraising idea for the 2023 Community Day, the Jockey Club Group was very keen to get involved. The Newmarket community are very supportive of the British Thoroughbred Industry and the businesses situated in their locality.

The Jockey Club as a business is focused on building strong relationships within the group and each of our communities. Working together on this event has helped us to achieve this goal, reach a wider audience and embrace the community spirit.”
