The Silk Series returns for 2021 to build upon fundraising total
The Silk Series returns in 2021, with a fifteen race programme culminating once again with The Silk Series Final at Doncaster in September.
Having taken a break in 2020, The Silk Series returns for a fourth year, with the first race at Ascot on Saturday 8 May. Once again, The Silk Series will award points for jockeys based on their finishing position across the fifteen races, with the jockey accumulating the most points over the summer receiving The Tufnell Trophy at Doncaster’s’ prestigious Cazoo St Leger Festival in September.
As in previous years, The Silk Series will support Cancer Research UK with vital fund and awareness-raising initiatives taking place across a number of the racecourses involved. The Series has raised over £150,000 in total for Cancer Research UK since its launch in 2017 and will be looking to build upon that total in 2021.
