Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

This is an internal BHA committee of volunteers who work together on both environmental and charitable projects. From Macmillan Bake sales to Walks and Cycle rides, there are activities throughout the year with fundraising part of the objectives, Mind has been a charity supported over the last year. The group also organise the BHA's involvement in Racing Together's Community Day and this has included in the past days at Greatwood, mucking out, gardening and painting fences to inviting groups of school children into the BHA itself for a day within the offices at 75 High Holborn. The committee work to champion environmental issues within the BHA such as recycling and have presented a Green Policy to move toward minimizing emissions from the company car policy to flight usage.
