Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Purpose:

Pony Racing Academies are designed to increase access to pony racing. The courses are fully funded, including the hire of ponies and equipment, but each rider provides their own safety equipment including a riding helmet, body protector and riding boots. Participants are: Aged between 11 and 14 years old Have a basic standard of riding and be able to canter in a riding school Really want to have a go at pony racing Show commitment to the course. In 3 years nearly 40 children have completed the scheme and over the next 2 years we expect to see another 30 children go through. The schemes are currently being run near Banbury, Gloucester, Liverpool, Worcester and in London. All those who have completed the 12 sessions have taken part in a pony race at the end of it.
