Volunteer today for racing charities!

Charities working across the sport are frequently in need of valuable support from volunteers – on an ongoing basis or just to support a particular event.

Volunteering is a great way to help the causes you support, and can even boost your CV and help you make new friendships.

Opportunities to volunteer with racing industry charities will be found through Careers in Racing and the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

QIPCO British Champions Day – Virtual Preview Evening in support of Racing Welfare

To celebrate the 10th edition of QIPCO British Champions Day and to preview the world-class action set to take place on the track, Great British Racing will be holding a virtual preview evening live on QIPCO British Champions Series Facebook page from 7 – 8pm on Thursday 15th October.

Sponsored by QIPCO and the Tote, the preview evening will raise money for charity with proceeds going towards Racing Welfare. All viewers will be encouraged to make a voluntary donation of £5 to the Racing Welfare Covid-19 emergency appeal.

Hosted by ITV Racing’s Francesca Cumani, the expert panel will consist of:

  • Chris Dixon (Racing TV),
  • Kevin Blake (Sky Sports Racing),
  • Lee Mottershead (Racing Post),
  • Oisin Murphy (2019 Champion Jockey)
  • Jamie Hart (Tote).
