Purpose:

Everton in the Community is one of the most respected community programmes in sport so we're delighted to work with them. The partnership with Everton began when we launched the Aintree Community Programme in December 2014. There has been two parts to the partnership historically, with ad hoc activity also taking place. Supporting people with Dementia and/ or socially isolated people in the community was one of our inaugural projects and has been a huge success - Grand National tours by our historian, Jane Clarke and lunch in the Peter O'Sullevan Community Hub. Secondly, the Riding for Disabled sessions have also been a success for young people in the community working with RDA's Beechley Stables.
