Purpose:
Due to the way the BHA is funded as an organisation, it does not have a charity partner/ CSR programme in place presently, in the way a commercial organisation might. However, it does, in a number of different ways, offer charitable support - this includes: charity donation of £500 from every set of Bespoke Racing Colours registered. Facilitation of a fee donation via industry licensing to Retraining of Racehorses and Racing Welfare. Our staff can donate up to 20% of any long service award to charity, and are encouraged to get involved in volunteering and may take paid leave to do so at the discretion of their manager. The charity Racing to School receives the benefit of the day to day operational support of our financial, legal and People and Culture teams.
