Box4Kids

Programme Highlight

Barrie Wells, our Executive Chairman and sole funder, made a conscious decision to donate ongoing funds to enable seriously ill children to be afforded special experiences. The Trust is unique as it does not ask for monetary donations, just simply the kind donation of executive boxes, whether this be once a year or on several occasions. The Box4Kids initiative has helped thousands of young people by offering them VIP experiences using hospitality spaces at sporting, horse racing, music and entertainment venues. The Jockey Club's partnership with Box4Kids has for the past four years enabled young people to have VIP days out at some of Britain's best racecourses and race days, including exclusive extras such as visiting the Parade Ring, presenting prizes and choosing the best turned out horse.
