Unfortunately our Devon Air Ambulance Day had to abandon for 2019 as this is usually our most successful activity. Rasing £6k in November 2018. However based on 2019 I would say our ‘A Question of Racing event held after our Haldon Gold Cup was the best. Love Devon’s objectives are to ensure communities: have increased capability, skills and confidence in addressing local issues, become more resourceful and resilient, are economically stronger, are healthier, more vibrant and inclusive, with improved wellbeing, are supported to develop strategies to protect and regenerate their natural environment. All the revenue from the tickets sold went to the charity, they also did bucket collections, games and educational stands around the racecourse during the fixture. In all they managed to raise over £2k.
