Programme Highlight

Greatwood was the first charity to use former racehorses to educate disadvantaged children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We have successfully re-homed many racehorses and our work with children has gone from strength to strength and over 2000 children have been educated at Greatwood. Emotional wellbeing, mindfulness and inclusion are at the heart of all of Greatwood’s Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) educational programmes.
