Education: Racing To School days, this year we have welcomed schools for educational days on non-racedays due to racing BCD protocols. Fundraising & Donations: Royal British Legion is always on site on Redcar’s Help for Heroes raceday, bucket collecting and poppy selling. We also donate race titles to raise awareness. North East Autism Society: the charity has a big presence at our Zetland Gold Cup day, raising funds and awareness. Teeside Hospice: On site on ladies day, they do a fashion show with donated clothes, charity raffle and bucket collection. RNLI: Attend on Caribbean carnival day (in pirate fancy dress) to raise funds and awareness for the local lifeboat crew. Middlesbrough football club foundation: Were planning to do a cycle challenge on a raceday during the Tour of Yorkshire and the racecourse were providing hospitality (This got cancelled in 2020, but hoping to do it in the future) Community Relations: The racecourse is a ‘Friend of Redcar cemetery’ helping to maintain the area and raising funds.
