Our work experience day at our race meeting on Tuesday 27th August 2019. We gave a small group of teenagers a 'behind the scenes' experience of a raceday. They each spent a race with the Judge, Stewards, Starter, Clerk of the Scales, Raceday Presenter and Racecourse Manager. All said that they found the day hugely beneficial and that they hoped to pursue their interest further, possibly with a career in racing in mind.
