Purpose:

Through its investment in education, Shadwell provided four 2019/2020 scholarship places for students on the 1-year Thoroughbred Stud Operations course at Writtle University College. Shadwell also provided work placements to the Writtle students, students from the National Stud and equine students from Hungary. Annually Shadwell donate to Racing To School which contributes to the events for school children throughout the year. In addition, through our sponsorship of the Pony Racing Authority (East Anglia), Shadwell assists in progressing young people from pony racing to careers in horse racing. Similarly, our cattle farm youth training days teach and encourage youngsters aged 8 – 24 interested in a cattle farming career.
