Racing to School is an education charity that delivers free outdoor learning activities for young people at racecourses, studs and trainers’ yards across the country. As such, all of our day to day activity is focused on both educating our young beneficiaries and engaging them with a sport that is often at the heart of their local community. We are proud of all our achievements over the past year, especially setting new record participation of over 15,000 young people throughout 2019. We are also very proud of our two beacon projects at Aintree and Newmarket, which take a longitudinal approach to community engagement, offering deep connections between students and the sport over a number of years. We are proud of our work because of the hugely positive impact it has on our beneficiaries, their schools, our partner organisations and the wider community.
