Bookings open for Racing With Pride’s LGBT+ Education Event on Friday, 23rd June at the National Horse Racing Museum Newmarket.
Individuals from across horseracing are invited to attend British Horseracing’s official LGBT+ Network – Racing With Pride for face-to-face panel discussions, networking and break-out sessions in order to learn more about LGBT+ and inclusion.
The first part of the conference will explore the current situation across British horseracing, other sports and the wider community using the question ‘What Does Pride Really Mean to the LGBT+ Community?.
The second part of the day will focus on Trans Inclusion. This will take the form of an educational workshop as well as practical advice on how to implement the newly created ‘Transitioning At Work Guidance’, which has been created by Racing with Pride. The full itinerary and list of speakers will be sent out to ticket holders nearer the time.
Attendees also will be invited to enjoy a buffet lunch and tour of the Museum and Racing with Pride exhibitions. After this there is the option to stay on and watch the afternoon’s racing from Royal Ascot on TV. This can be purchased separately if you do not wish to attend the morning sessions.
